I want to give you readers as accurate of a window to Paul's policy as I can, while point out some pros and cons, and letting you decide if he's worthy of the presidential position of the United States of America.
Military: Ron Paul says this should be one of the easiest departments to cut from the budget. We spend approximately $1,500,000,000,000 on our military every year, and about half of that is supporting our wars. Paul has been against these wars for the past 10 years and says we should end them as soon as possible. Since they were technically illegal to begin with, and our occupation of their countries does nothing for either us or the country we're occupying, $500B+ a year spending is not worth taxpayer's money. He say we need to leave them alone, and bring our troops to our own boarders.
Pros: Save (lots) of money, other countries will be ultimate relieved, and our American soldiers will be out of harms way.
Cons: Some believe this will cause us to be at risk of more terrorist plots.
What do I think: I say trying to prevent war by going to war is a paradox.
If they can save money is ok, to make more schools and prevent further wars
ReplyDeleteRon Paul is a very worthy candidate in my opinion, but getting the majorities to vote for him is nearly impossible almost making him seem like a special interest libertarian candidate.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this is such a good idea.
ReplyDeleteThat might be good..
ReplyDeleteI mean I want to help other countries as much as possible. But only when their people WANT our help... and only if we can afford it.
ReplyDeleteYou must always help your brother, but only if it doesn't put your family's lively hood at stake.
